For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And He gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making His appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:19-21
This portion is for you to do. I am not going to say anything deep about it at the moment. Or even anything shallow. I am going to leave it for you but I will add, take note of the title I gave it. It might give you a clue as to what you can get out of it. This is one of those deep pithy Paul statements that needs unpacking. So go away and unpack it. Pay attention to every little detail; every word, every nuance. This is one of those packed passages that demands your full attention.
End of the Gem for the day. One of the shortest Gems on record. I don’t think it takes the record but it is close. I am not so interested in telling you the “answers” as to help you ask the right questions and set you up to do it for yourself in the future.
I would love to read what you got out of it if you care to send it to me. Then we can interact on the passage.
Have fun.
I will study and prepare myself and then someday my chance will come.

Oswald Chambers
I will prepare myself and some day my Prince will come.
