Why are there two creation accounts in Gen 1 & 2? Some think there are 2 different periods of human creation. There is much talk nowadays about a form of humans who existed that gave rise to the giants of Genesis, the Nephilim or the Nephalites as some like to call them. They think this theory answers the problem of the two accounts in Genesis and the issue of who the Nephilim were in Genesis 6. Wrong again. Others think the gap = evolution, i.e a gap of millions of years with Australopithecines and Neanderthal man on one side and modern man on the other, evolution therefore being included in the Bible. That is, the second creative act of Genesis Two gave rise to modern man when God created Adam. What nonsense! The repetition between Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 is to highlight the apex of God’s creation of Mankind.
You don’t have to harmonise the Bible with evolution. It is easy to defeat evolution. It stands on a pack of cards. Be informed. That what’s the Bible stands for Be Informed Before Leaving Earth. Many scientists worldwide are now leaving the theory of evolution in droves. It is no longer tenable as a comprehensive world view. The advance of science and knowledge in the last 30 years has spelled the death knell of Evolution (macro evolution – ape to man; not change within the species).

If you think education is expensive, try ignorance.

A little girl came home from school and said to her grandmother, “Granny, guess what? We learned how to make babies today.” Granny more than a little surprised, tried to keep her cool. “That’s interesting,” she said, “How do you make babies?” “It’s simple,” replied the little girl. “You just change ‘y’ to ‘i’ and add ‘es'”.

Note what the wisdom of grandmotherhood enables you to do. Ask a question before you ring the school.
Nice. After coming across this website and reading the revelation letter series so far, I am starting at the beginning! A labour of fruitful love, Ian. Good one. My understanding of “Bible” was Basic Information Before Leaving Earth… and I like Be Informed.. as well. Cheers!
