If in preaching the gospel you substitute your knowledge of the way of salvation for confidence in the power of the gospel, you hinder people from getting to reality.
His plan for salvation was not dependant on human intervention just as His coming back isn't dependant on your co-operation.
Salvation happened when Jesus stopped. It happened for us all when He stopped on this earth. Does salvation result for someone when you stop?
Indeed, the "right time" is now. Today is the day of salvation. (2 Cor 6:2)
If you're in Christ, you are a saint. The working out of salvation is to live out of who He has already made us to be.
One of the sweetest reasons God saved you is because he is fond of you. He likes having you around.
He loves. He pursues. He persists. And, every so often, a heart starts to soften. Let yours be one of them.
Your salvation wasn't a joint effort. You didn't contribute a penny because you were spiritually bankrupt.
Too many of us have become preoccupied with our material well-being. Instead of believing God for the salvation of our loved ones, we're believing Him for houses, cars, holidays, and so on.
