The Message in the Stars – Aquarius

Sa’ad al Melik = “the record of the pouring forth”

Sa’ad al Suud = “who goes and returns”, “pourer out”, “stream”

Other stars: “who causes the abundant overflow”

The names in Pegasus apply to the man in Aquarius.

Water is the life-giving element of the physical world. It’s what makes our planet “the blue dot”. Jesus is the true giver of life giver water. Water is also synonymous with the outpouring of the Spirit, the former and latter rains. In the Old Testament God’s blessings to his people is always beside rivers and water. Pisces Australis (the Southern fish) is seen drinking from the stream coming from Aquarius.“If any man thirsts let him to me and drink.” In scripture, fish symbolize Christians, those who’ve come alive in the Spirit.

Horse – Pegasus – literally “the horse of the fountain”, the winged horse, the messenger of the gods. The message from the gods of a great victory won. Horses are either the symbol of those who would carry the message or the appearance of a horse in Scripture often heralds a message of pending judgement. The true Pegasus is the messenger who brings the gospel of Christ.

The Swan

This is an intriguing constellation. The swan is on the wing, in the act of fast flight. In harmony with the notion of the swiftness of movement this group contains 61 Cygni, a binary star which is the swiftest stellar body in our universe. Its binary nature means 61 Cygni is linked to both planetary nebulae and the nebulous stars. It is partly terrestrial and partly celestial. Which accords with terrestrial Pisces and celestial Pisces, which we look at next week. All the pieces fit; but we would expect that when God spells out the story. In keeping with the overall message the stars convey, the stars in the spread wings and body of the swan decan form a large cross.

The message conveyed in the stars is intricately interwoven. Next week we investigate Pisces, of course that would be the next one in God’s serial message.
