The Egyptians also celebrate the Feast of the Ram with foliage and branches and they put the mark of the feast over their door. The Persians have a similar festival of Aries
The Decans of Aries
First Decan – Cassiopeia – the enthroned woman
the beautiful
Stars:
- Shedar – the freed
- Caph – the branch in the hand
- Dat al Cursa the enthroned, set in place
- Ruchba – the seated
The true church, the woman glorified, holding a branch in one hand and adorning herself with the other. Preparing herself for a coming public ceremony. Delivered from evil.
This is one of most beautiful constellations in the heavens. It includes four stars of the third magnitude which form the seat on which this woman sits. This constellation contains a binary star, a triple star, a double star, a quadruple star and an extraordinary number of star clusters. On the 10thof November 1572 a star surpassing in brilliance and splendour all stars in the universe suddenly appeared and shone for 16 months only to disappear and has never been seen since. It was a great mystery to astronomers. Many believe it was symbolic of the church which grew and then disappeared under the shadow of the dark ages.
The ruling sceptre is being offered to Cassiopeia from the king on her right. Her beauty was lauded by the Greeks. She is indeed the spotless bride of the Lamb.
Second Decan – Cetus – Leviathan (sea monster), bound serpent
Stars:
- Menkar “the bound” or “chained enemy” (bound by the band which holds the two Pisces.)
- Mira “the rebel thrust down”
- Diphda “overthrown”
The star Mira is unique – it is the most variable and unsteady of all stars in the heavens.
A star of the second magnitude, it dwindles away to become invisible, then reappears.
In Greek fable Cetus was the enemy of Andromeda; Perseus was the breaker of her bondage:- the dragon, the serpent, the devil, Satan.
Third Decan – Perseus – the armed man
Perseus (Greek) “the breaker”
Stars:
- Mirfak (Hebrew) “who assists”

The stars in the head carried by Perseus

- Rosh Satan “the head of the enemy”
- Al Oneh (Arabic) “the subdued or weakened”
- Al Ghoul (Arabic) “the evil spirit”
This one is the Lamb of the Apocalypse – the defeater of the arch enemy.

He who upholds the fishes and subdues the enemy.
